Bruna Patricia Acam | Uganda

Bruna Patricia Acam is a lawyer with over seven years of experience in legal aid service provision.  Bruna is passionate about women's economic and legal empowerment.  Currently, Bruna is the founder of Justice for Her, an organization focusing on women and girls? legal and economic empowerment through legal aid service provision and skills empowerment.  She also serves as the Board Secretary for the Women Human Rights Defenders Network Uganda where she offers legal advisory support to the membership.  Bruna holds a Master of Law degree in International Human Rights Law and Practice.  Bruna is motivated by witnessing women overcome abuse and thrive holistically.  Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she plans to advocate for the rights of the vulnerable, empower and provide a platform for women and children seeking justice striving to reach at least 1000 dropout teenage mothers with professional, rapid, and vocational skills.
